Trainee Quantity Surveyor

Sam is an ambitious and detail-driven Trainee Quantity Surveyor developing his commercial and technical expertise within Stadium Structures’ specialist structural contracting environment. Working closely with the commercial and project delivery teams, he is gaining hands-on experience in cost management, procurement, valuations and contract administration across complex construction projects.

Currently contributing to major developments including the AFC Bournemouth stadium expansion and new stadium projects in the United States, Sam is building practical knowledge of the modular stadium construction process and the commercial disciplines required to successfully deliver world-class venues.

Alongside his professional role, Sam is studying for his HNC in Quantity Surveying, further strengthening his understanding of measurement, construction technology and industry standards.

His academic background also includes a Higher National Diploma in Law from the University of Birmingham, providing a strong foundation in contract principles and attention to detail.

Before entering the construction industry, Sam spent two years working in lettings in Birmingham city centre, where he developed strong communication, negotiation and client management skills. Driven, reliable and highly motivated,
