Ian is a highly experienced pre-construction and bid management professional with more than 35 years of experience across the construction industry. His career has spanned quantity surveying, design management, project delivery, commercial management and pre-construction leadership, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the entire project lifecycle. Having held senior positions with leading contractors including Wates Construction, Bouygues UK, Kier Group and Weavers, Ian has successfully led the procurement, planning and delivery of major construction projects across a wide range of sectors. His expertise lies in developing winning bid strategies, managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring projects are positioned for successful delivery from the earliest stages of development.

Throughout his career, Ian has played a key role in the successful delivery of projects across the sports, education, healthcare, commercial, residential, leisure and public sectors. His experience includes managing complex tender submissions, leading stakeholder engagement, overseeing design development and driving value engineering initiatives on major national projects. Ian joins Stadium Structures as Bid Manager, bringing extensive expertise in pre-construction, bid leadership, risk management and project planning. His ability to coordinate complex bid teams, develop robust delivery strategies and build strong client relationships will play a key role in supporting Stadium Structures' continued growth across the sports and entertainment infrastructure sectors.
